NEW INVESTMENT SURVEY: PARENTS, TEACHERS, COMMUNITY MEMBERS

Tell us how new investments in your local schools are having a positive impact on students!

The PA Schools Work coalition is collecting information about investments by school districts that were made possible by state funding increases they received in the 2024-2025 state budget. As we continue to fight for fully, fairly funded public schools, sharing evidence about the impact of the recent budget increase is critical.

Our goal is to collect stories and examples that will demonstrate the many ways that resources in schools matter and make a positive difference in students’ lives. We will share these stories with lawmakers, the media, and the public to continue to build support for an adequate, equitable, and constitutional public school funding system in Pennsylvania.

These investments might include:

Hiring new teachers and school staff, improving teacher salaries and benefits, purchasing new materials for students, or launching new
programs and services; and/or
Retaining staff, programs, or services that would have been cut without the additional state funding; and/or
Improving school facilities.

We would be deeply grateful if you would be willing to take a few minutes to share information about how your school district is using new state resources to improve opportunities for your students.
