SCRANTON — Children in York and Harrisburg are not worth more than children in Scranton.
At a rally Monday and Scranton School Board committee meeting that followed, directors, teachers, administrators, parents and taxpayers came together to repeat that message — and they want more people to hear it.
“I know we’re going to get this funding because we won’t stop until we do,” Director Paul Duffy told the 200 people gathered for the rally outside Scranton High School.
