Those of us in law enforcement know the answer, because it’s the same that anyone would give. We all want to protect our families, keeping them free from harm. Prevention is our strongest defense. Every person diverted from criminal activity saves society money and, more importantly, makes our lives safer.
That’s why many law enforcement professionals in Pennsylvania believe continued investment in the education of our children must be a priority for public spending in the commonwealth. Decades of research prove that a solid base of learning and accomplishment prepares children for adulthoods of productive citizenship.
