Janet Sardon might be looking at a yellow school bus, but the only thing the West Jefferson Hills superintendent sees is how much potential the space holds for improving her students’ mental health.
The district plans to transform a school bus into a mobile “school bus,” a space that will allow students in kindergarten through second grade learn to manage stress and anxiety.
“This bus will positively impact our students since it will provide them with a more accessible means to seek out support,” Ms. Sardon said.
