Public school leaders came together across Pennsylvania Saturday to launch a grassroots effort aimed at securing more state funding for their students.
Eight summits to organize the “PA Schools Work” funding movement were held throughout the state, including at the Colonial IU in Northampton County.
Leaders from several education and community organizations say now is the time to organize before next year’s state budget process picks up.
