On May 21, students from Bellefonte Area School District life skills classrooms joined teachers, paraprofessionals, student volunteers and administrators at Rogers Stadium for Special Olympics. Student athletes competed in events including the standing long jump, softball throw, Frisbee throw, 25-meter walk, wheelchair race, and 25- and 50-meter runs.
